Kim Santen BSN, RN is a mother of three adult children, speaker, educator and coach. She teaches parents to reconnect to their family, children, selves and partners to help knock out misbehavior. Kim helps mend stressed relationships, including a relationship with yourself. Her passion for helping families reconnect comes from having been abused as a child. As a child, she was seen as “rebellious” and “unruly.” But she was merely reacting to circumstances where communication and parenting skills were lacking.
If her parents had known these skills, her life would have been dramatically changed. She is committed to teaching families how create relationships that build each other up, instead of tearing each other. Or tearing ourselves down. Kim recognizes that feeling out of options or just plain not knowing what to do contribute to breakdowns. Knowing a few tips can make all the difference and she can’t wait to share them with you! No one is perfect but we can strive to know better and do better
Kim has over 26 years of parent coaching experience. Her challenging up bringing taught her to be a survivor and how to be resilient. She was a single mother for many years, and learned the kind of stress only single parenting can bring. Currently married, she is getting to see what step family challenges bring to the table. Her mission in life is to help families grow together and change the future. She believes the change starts in the home, and with that one change... you have the power to change the world!
During her free time you will find Kim spending time with family, traveling or doing all things art.
